In the 2019 live action film of Disney's Aladdin, we have a new genie on the block. Will Smith comes out to show how he can bring the animated character to life. Smith brought humor and heart into the role of the Genie. He was able to create his own version of the character, which was vital in how the story played out. With the film's new character Dalia, we see a bit of a connection between her and Genie. Once we see this, audiences craved freedom for the loyal, honest, and newly found friend of Aladdin. From start to finish, movie goers left with happiness in their hearts for the Genie's newly found freedom.
